About MonetizationKit

Free tools for one question creators and marketers keep asking: is this channel actually making money?

What the site does

Paste a YouTube channel, video or Short into the monetization checker and it tells you how likely it is that the channel is in the YouTube Partner Program, with every piece of evidence listed. Similar checks cover Facebook pages and websites. Around those checkers sit calculators for watch hours, CPM and RPM, and the Partner Program requirements.

For creators still working toward the thresholds, the Tracker shows how far a channel is from 500 and 1,000 subscribers. Pro adds growth history and an estimate of the date you'll get there.

Why every result is an estimate

YouTube stopped showing whether a channel is monetized in November 2023. Nobody outside YouTube can read that status anymore, including us. What we can do is look at public evidence: the subscriber count on the channel page, features only Partner Program channels get (channel memberships, a store on the channel), and whether ads actually run on the channel's recent videos.

None of these proves anything alone. YouTube runs ads on some channels that aren't in the program, and plenty of monetized channels never turn on memberships. So a result is one of four confidence levels, never a yes or no, and the signals behind it are shown right under it. If you think we got a channel wrong, email us the link and we'll look at which signal misled us.

How the site pays for itself

No ads, and we don't sell data. Checks are free, up to 20 a day, no account needed. The Tracker is free for 2 channels; Tracker Pro, the one paid plan, adds more channels, growth history, milestone predictions and email alerts. Pro subscriptions are what keep the checkers free.

Who we're not

MonetizationKit is independent. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube, Google, Meta or TikTok. We have no access to anyone's YouTube Studio, AdSense or payout data. The only Studio number we use is the watch hours a Tracker user chooses to type in.
